The Attack Of The Beast

The skies changed color instantly with the sounds of roaring tidal waves that came crashing upon the shores of Cordea from the ocean itself. The rains began to pour down on the villages sending a everlasting storm that seemed to have no clear motive other than to flood the entire continent. The beast behind this nasty natural disaster was the almighty Dreadmaster who was not to long ago summoned during a battle between Vincent and the warriors of Cordea, as instructed the Dreadmaster made no waste in it's effort to destroy buildings with it's roar of power that blasted like a death machine. The mighty creature rose it's body tall and swiped it's tail along the lands smashing the local homes near the shore of Cordea, once again following up with a extremely powerful roar of destruction that blasted the sands of the beach apart.

The Dreadmaster's eyes searched around when it noticed the people running and screaming out of their homes and this riled the beast up more making it want to destroy. It was quite the attraction of the Dreadmaster to kill when people were in fear of it for it gave the monster a feeling of satisfaction when it began to murder. The scaly back of the beast rose sending of the crystal like spears that were on top of it's scales crashing into the homes and people below, impaling some and crushing others to bits. The Dreadmaster was not complete with it's share of killings yet, it slammed it's body down onto the main streets sending a massive earthquake across the area killing the people by sending them down into a pit that was caused from it's body. Once more it rose up again roaring a power roar into the sky that initiated lightning flashes and thunder blasts that echoed throughout the lands of Cordea.

The Dreadmaster looked at the forest behind the destroyed village, in which not a soul was left alive. It roared and left it's mouth open which began to charge a blue energy that created a spiral orb within the mouth and with one roar the orb fired into a beam that ripped through the forest destroying all life within it clearing the grass and trees down to the core of the soil below. Light flames were left in it's path as there was now a clean straight route through the forest in which the lesser demons summoned by Silvanus began to march through all armed and ready to assault anything that they saw. It was now a dawn of terror as the Dreadmaster moved turning the lands that were not hit by the blast into seas now making it's way to the next target.

As the chaos was spreading on Cordea, nothing seemed able to stop it. The Dreadmaster seemed to be causing mass destruction and putting Cordea into darkness. But then, a loud echo of what sounded like a large mechanical motor rev echoed through the attacked part of Cordea. This motor bike was driving near the attacked land as it left a large dust trail. It drove around the lesser demons as it then came to a quick stop near the new shore. The man on the bike, Cloud Strife, looked at the colossal serpent that caused this. An angry look grew on his face as he then got off of his bike. He clicked a button on his bike as two compartments on the bike opened. He grabbed out multiple blades, that when all attached formed a Buster Sword. He rested it on his shoulder as he then listened to the winds, the ominous winds.

Cloud then spun his sword around as he then placed it on his back in a little holder. His arm then glowed red as he charged a red orb in his hand. He shot it into the sky as clouds began to swirl into a cyclone that slowly reached down to a mountain top. Cloud then looked at the mountain, then to the serpent. He leaped into the air as he then started to descend, using this to glide down as he glided straight for the Dreadmaster's head. He grabbed his BusterSword from his back as he began becoming engulfed in blue aura which enhanced his speed. He held the Buster Sword behind him as it began having sparks appear on it, and Cloud's arm glowed blue. Cloud then shifted the sword in front of him, using high speeds and an electrified sword, to attempt to pierce straight through the Dreadmaster and cause mass damage.

The beast instantly could sense the power of another person close by and turned looking at the man in blue aura that descended upon it, clearly he wanted to face the awesome might of the legendary Dreadmaster but the question was, is he prepared to put his life at risk doing so. The Dreadmaster let out a sharp yet deadly roar that sent blasting winds of shocking energy beaming up at Cloud who was descending on the beast in attempts to damage it, the blasts of the wind almost creating a cyclone from the mouth of the serpent was followed by a loud clash of lightning along with the heavy rains.

The beast turned again looking down at Cloud before moving back slightly and roaring loudly once more this time signaling a massive tsunami that rose over the mountains with ease. The waters came upon like a second ocean in attempts to swallow Cloud within the deep base of the high pressured water. The Dreadmaster instantly armored itself up once more with the crystal like scales on it's back harder than steel itself which acted as a Mana blocker in case he tried any sort of spell use to damage the beast.

As Cloud saw the Tsunami approach him, he was a little surprised, but quickly regained himself as he then came to a stop in mid-air. His arm stopped glowing blue, but then began again. He slowly raised his arm as though he was lifting something heavy. The ground was shaking as his hand then shot up above his head. Instantly, the tsunami died as Cloud utilized the ocean floor with his Earth spell at max power to shift in, making a large movement which casted a counteract wave underwater. As the Tsunami was dead, Cloud used a weak level of ice to make a platform on the ocean which he fell onto. He looked up at the Dreadmaster as he then looked back to the cyclone he made earlier seeing it dissipate.

Large galloping then echoed across the land as a large white steed came speeding down the mountain side with a knight on it. He held a giant sword in his hand as he rode on his steed quickly to Dreadmaster's position. The brave knight, Odin, was ready to strike this beast. He was approaching his target as he saw a large rock. Odin pulled on the reins of his steed as it hopped onto the rock, then leaping in the air as it was high up, near the Dreadmaster. Lightning he created striked his sword as his steed disappeared, but he still soared in the air heading to the Dreadmaster's body. He was attempting to strike below its head.

The Dreadmaster yet again seeing him launch himself directly at the beast roared lightly seeing his summoning to give him the boost needed to gain power and speed to attack the monster. However this was not enough to bring the beast down while still in it's armored state because of it's scale protection layering it was able to recover energy in order to do attacks at a much faster pace. The Beast from it's mouth fired a direct shot of pure energy enough to incinerate anything caught within the blinding flash of light.

"Odin, lets move!"

Cloud then dashed towards his motor bike, the Fenrir, as he hopped onto it. He ignited the engine as he then started speeding off with Odin, after summoning his steed, following right next to him. As the blast neared Cloud, he looked at Odin. Odin then snapped his fingers as a strong barrier covered both Cloud and Odin. This enabled them to escape the large blast, but as it began subsiding, they both turned around. Cloud hopped onto Odin's white steed as they began speeding down the destroyed path again, but this time with Cloud and Odin together.

They were now a few meters from the Dreadmaster as Cloud knew what it was time for them to do. Odin's large blade began to catch fire. Cloud jumped off of the steed as now Odin was about to unleash a full power attack in an attempt to break the Dreadmaster's armor like scales. His steed leaped in the air as he put the blade behind him. He charged up much energy as he then vanished right before the mighty serpent. He reappeared however behind the serpent, after sending off multiple, fast, powerful slashes. This awesome attack, was none other then Zantetsuken.

The Dreadmaster's 7th eye caught sight of them while the made their way behind him with their blinding speed, yet this was not enough to stop the monster, almost out of instinct the monster's scale glowed white showing it's inner charged energy that activates only when an assault is tried on the monster from behind. The Scales pointed upwards taking each of the strikes by the sword yet showed no signs of damage since in this glowing state. The Energy now ready to fire because of the assault let on by Cloud, fired in a powerful wave of multi-beam flashes that moved in different locations from it's body all having to blast through Cloud before continuing on to the remains of the city to directly shatter Cordea's shores itself.

"Damnit.."

Now that Odin released a full power attack and failed, he was de-summoned. Cloud then saw the Dreadmaster fire an attack which was a flash of pure energy. He was ready to take down this powerful attack. He held out his hand again, arm glowing blue, creating a large barrier again, but this time it looked different. As the wave of energy made contact, Cloud had trouble keeping the barrier up, but then the wave of energy came soaring back at the Dreadmaster, for this wasn't a barrier spell, but a reflect spell!

Now with the Dreadmaster's attack soaring back at it, with more power and Cloud's own power, Cloud assured the attack would hit. He held out his hand once more as it glowed blue again as then ice started to form in the waters. Cloud started to enclose thick sheets of ice around the Dreadmaster to try and trap it in ice. It began to enclose faster, along with the re-directed energy.

The Dreadmaster was hit by the attack falling down onto the forest below sending off a loud Crash, it felt itself a little damaged from the wave that Cloud decided to place on the attack, the beast shook itself as it turned back to look at him sending off a light grunt before rise back to it's normal state. It roared now more viciously causing the storms to crash at a higher rate creating a twister of water around the beast and 4 others in the nearby area. The Dreadmaster was summoning up a powerful attack now since it was ready to eradicate Cloud, the winds blew stronger and the waters acted as a protective shield that was covering the beast preparing it for an assault.

Cloud saw as the Dreadmaster began conjuring up a powerful attack. Cloud figured it will be a water based attack judging by what it was doing. Cloud then began to swing his buster sword over head, as aura began to as it appear, pour down on him. Cloud then put his Buster Sword infront of him, holding it with both hands firmly. His power began to show more and more as now he was ready for anything the Dreadmaster threw at him.

The waters dispersed and the Dreadmaster now encased in a crystal like structure turned to face him opening it's mouth firing a hyper water beam with pressure greater than any geyser. The speed and force of the water was surely enough to tear the skin strait off of any target that it it. The beast pulled back and roared again as it fired another beam much like the first blast it did in order to enhance the power of the water by mixing it with a stream of mana energy.

"Dark Wing Technique: The Black Whirlwind!"

Crow called out instantly as black feather followed by a torrential blast of wind covered Cloud instantly like a barrier. The force and power behind the Whirlwinds effect collided with the attack breaking it apart and dispersing the Mana around the area. At that second Crow flew out of the sky releasing his black wings landing on the ground next to Cloud who seemed alert and ready for anything. He knew that he was ready to lay his life down on the line for Cordea and Crow liked that attitude since he knew that this was one partner that wasn't going to back down.

"Hey, mind if I cut in?..I saw you were having some fun here so I thought, what the hell, looks like fun..So how about we get this beast ready for some real action..you game Cloud?"

The Dreadmaster now a little enraged at the man who interfered with it's attack roared as the crystals on it's body retracted back under it's scales. It was not about to be disgraced in such a manner and was now willing to do anything in order to rip them both to pieces. The beast slithered around crashing down the trees and landmass below it as it headed towards the both of them. Rising up it made a strong pounce towards the two with it's mouth open ready and willing to devour the two of them in one strike.

Wielding the legendary Kaiser Blade: Sword Of The Endless Flame, Sakira leaped over both Cloud and Crow swinging her sword at the beast and sending a direct Mana charge within her blade to ignite it's legendary power. In a blazing yet blinding flash she swiped the sword seven times across the beast's face and once more upon the side of it's head pushing back in order to launch the beast a ways distance from the two before landing on the ground in front of Cloud and Crow, surrounded in a red aura and light flames that covered her feet moving everywhere that she moved.

"Reinforcements are here for you Cloud...Ready to go on your mark, just let us know when."

The Dreadmaster who slammed against a moutain nearby rose back up shaking it's head from side to side in order to regain it's composure. It was caught off guard yet again by another person who interfered with yet another one of it's attacks. Roaring once again in order to express it's rage it waited to see what they were going to do now wise to the attacks of the three seeing as though they only reacted to what the beast did.

"Well its about time"

Cloud then looked to both of his teammates, only knowing who one was. He was oblivious to who this man was and why he would save Cloud. None the less, he focused back on the battle. He figured it was time to stop taking defensive and become offensive. A Barrier appeared around Cloud as he began to store a lot of energy up for an attack he was getting ready to launch.

"Okay, if you can handle the beast for a bit, I'll be able to use a devastating attack on it"

"Understood.."

Sakira stood in a sort of offensive yet defensive stance in case the beast had a counter attack ready, she contemplated it's power and instantly her own grew in response to meet it's combatant level. Flames around her armor dress began to grow stronger and more violent, as Sakira now had the motive to battle the beast once more this time making sure that she dealt as much damage as possible to beast in order to give Cloud the time he needed to perform his finishing attack.

"Crow do you have my back on this one."

"Count on it.."

Crow crossed his arms waiting for Sakira to move knowing that he was ready and able to fight and assist her should she ever need it for right now. His eyes turned to Cloud slightly wondering if he actually had what it takes to stop this monster. Crow among the three was the only to even know what this beast is capable of first hand but he also knew that it wasn't wise to judge someone on appearance. He placed his faith in Cloud before looking back at Sakira arming his claw the Silent Sirocco.

The beast let out another searing roar that signaled it's advancement towards them. Diving under the grounds and breaking through them jumping up again made the motions of the beast seem almost too intense as the waters and the lands began to shake with each motion of the beast, which was ready and willing to destroy them all in one attack. The Beast opened it's mouth and charged neutron energy that started an electric burst that became a flash cannon blasting with almost 300 times more force than it's previous attacks. The Flash began tearing the grounds and surroundings apart zooming towards the three of them with intense speed.

"Wow..that's just what we need.."

"Leave it to me!"

Sakira placed her hand on the side of her sword kneeling down behind it in a defensive motion when instantly the blazes of the energy within her power took hold forming an impenetrable inferno barrier. She pushed her might blocking the blast of the Dreadmaster holding it off until the energy itself died down. The flames let down as Sakira began breathing heavily from exhaustion by keeping the barrier up long enough to stop the attack from wiping them out. She turned to Crow nodding her head to let him know that it was his turn.

"..Go.."

"On it..Now lets see how this monster likes it when we get up close and personal." Crow spoke dashing off through the cleared path between them and the beast running at speeds of inhuman levels, he dashed from side to side leaving light feathers in his wake allowing him to get closer and closer to the Dreadmaster and without second though he jumped into the air coming within the face of the beast with his Sirocco armed, sending a powerful slash at the face between the eyes of the beast.

"Feel this monster!"

The Dreadmaster was hit by the slash of Crow letting out a shriek of pain in a crying roar as it slowly began to heal itself. It shook it's head a little and returned it's attention to the Man who was next to him. With almost instant reactions the beast turned to the side coming in for a bit in order to sever the body of Crow in one attack.

Crow looked at the beast coming in for the bit and laughed a little using his speed to backflip out of the way gaining enough distance to see the attack avoiding it completely. He turned back to Sakira now ready for her to do her part against the monster.

"Alright your up princess.."

"Right!"

Sakira smirked and dashed off from near Cloud blasting with great speed in the location where Crow was. She knew that this was her chance to inflict damage since the beast was in a state of recoil as well as shock after the attack that it just tried on Crow which he escaped from. Sakira jumped over Crow almost flying towards the beast when she began to spin her sword around on her fingers moving it like a staff around her body which ignited the sword into flames thus giving her the chance for her attack.

"Alright lets see you handle this..Nexus Nova: Comet Of The Raging Star!"

Sakira while in the air had her body covered in a red aura that was the sign of the Crimson Flame, Sakira's bloodline striker attack of the level 3 class. The skies began to change it's cloud patters as the coloring changed to a bright red, sending a red energy beam from the skies down onto Sakira's sword which she held up in the sky while descending to the Dreadmaster. Coming down with a direct slash the energy from the legendary Comet Of The Raging Star turned the sword's blade into a almost indestructible photon blade ready to sever through anything that was hit by it's force.
